She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lee and Gladys Ethel Ray Spitzer; her husband Jack Cook; her sister Betty Bolick; and her sons, Ricky High and Randy High.
She is survived by: her children, Chris High (Traci) of Gastonia and Judy McReynolds (Allen) of Winston Salem. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.
