She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Rufus Martin and Nora Belle Cabe Martin; her husband Charles Morrison Brazell; her close friend Charles "Chuck" O. Goodman; and her brothers, T. W. "Dub" Martin, Clyde Martin, Gene Martin, Clarence "Marty" Martin and Kenneth Vernon Martin, Sr..
She is survived by: her pet Otis; her daughter Pamela "Pam"; her son-in-law Glen Hardee of Gastonia; her son Randy; her daughter-in-law Patricia "Pat" Brazell of Charlotte; her granddaughter Miranda Brazell of Charlotte; and her extended family, Glenn of Gastonia, Sherrie Mace of Gastonia, Ann of Gastonia and Doug Clark of Gastonia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
