With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elisa McCallister (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2020 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James "Jimmy" Edward McCallister; her sons, James Lewis McCallister of Bozeman, MT and Jordan Trent McCallister (Ashley) of Belmont, NC; her grandchildren, Colin Rex McCallister, Wells Laursen McCallister and Lennon Elise McCallister; her siblings, Kimberly Dobbins Berry (Tony) of Shelby, NC, Lewis Harold "Buster" Dobbins Jr. (Ambra) of Shelby, NC and Sandra Renee Dobbins of Shelby, NC; her great-nephew Cayden Drake Bridges; her great-nieces, Aubrey Harper Bridges and Breianna Lee Bridges; her parents, Martha LaFaye Hamrick Dobbins and Lewis Harold Dobbins; her parents-in-law, Jim and Katie McCallister of Kenova, WV; and her siblings-in-law, David McCallister (Rose) of Kenova, WV, John McCallister (Sherrie) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Jane Kennedy of Charleston, WV.. She was also cherished by nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Gaston Day School's Annual Fund in memory of Sheree "Mimi" McCallister. Donations can be made by check or online.
