It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwain Hinkle of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Paul Hinkle. He is survived by: his wife Lula Mae Hawkins "Boots" Hinkle; his children, Paul Hinkle (Catherine) and Wendy Schmidt (Scott); his grandsons, Jarrett Schmidt and John Michael Schmidt (Hannah); and his sisters, Carol Hoffman (Tommy), Jewel Thomas (Eddie) and Kathy Randel (Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
