Douglas P. Sigmon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023, at the age of 79, Douglas P. Sigmon of Gastonia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Carrol Sigmon and Martha Nivens Sigmon; his wife Brenda Garrett Sigmon; his son Richard Sigmon (Tammy); his stepdaughter Elizabeth "Beth" Roberson; his grandsons, Stephen Sigmon (Hannah), Samuel Sigmon and Solomon Sigmon; his great grandchildren, Liam Sigmon and Laelynn Sigmon; and his siblings, Mike (Linda) and Jo Carole Carson. He was also cherished by extended family members with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southminster Church, Missions, 1401 Hoffman Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
