He is survived by: his mother Virginia Patterson Putnam; his daughter Laura Bentley (Jason); his siblings, Dean Putnam (Geraldine), Dennis Putnam (Lynn) and Toot Smith; and his grandsons, Patrick Bone, Evan Bentley and Elijah Bentley.
