Dorothy Cannon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Cannon of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Sparks and Inez Kilpatrick Sparks of Gastonia, NC; her husband Rudolph "Rudy" Gordon Cannon; her sister Joyce Sparks Rhyne of Greensboro, NC; and her son-in-law David Wise of Gastonia, NC..

She is survived by: her children, Gary M. Cannon (Judy) of Columbia, SC and Kim Cannon Wise of Gastonia, NC.; her granddaughters, Christy Wise Turner (Lee) and Jenny Wise Hill (EJ); and her great grandchildren, Zoe, Zach, Zeth Turner, Kaleigh, Miley Hill and Dot-Dot.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic there will be a private family graveside service.
