With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris May Preston of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvid Grayson and Alma Newby Grayson; and her son Stevie Preston. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Preston; her daughter Beverly Kelly (Kip); her sister Mary Wilson; and her grandchildren, Brandon Kelly (Andrea), Sarah Brown (Kirk), Nathan Kelly (Lindsey) and Katelyn Kelly. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
