With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Gail Diggs (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 9, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Armstrong and Madge Armstrong; and her husband Cary Bland Diggs. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Diggs Trakas and Gina Diggs (Geno Nervo); her sisters, Ann McClure (Jim) and Millie Shoemaker (Art); her granddaughter Hannah Trakas; and her great grandchild Gabby Driver.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
