It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnimechi Williams (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roscoe Williams, Sr.; and his brother David R. Williams. He is survived by: his mother Betty M. Williams of Gastonia; his children, Ladonna Sanders, Zaria Sanders, Angel Brown, Davonia Williams and Dontrell Williams; his siblings, Mary Steward (Floyd) of Gastonia, Jocelyn Williams (Seymoure) of Gastonia, Maranda Phillips (Paris) of Gastonia, Andrea Philson of Gastonia, Rosalyn Williams of Brooklyn, Roscoe Williams, Jr., Terry M. Williams (Sonji) and Christopher Williams, Sr. (Lauren) of Gastonia; and his uncle Leon Hope. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
