She is survived by: her daughter Erica Smith Barrett; her children-in-law, Derek Barrett of Cherryville, NC and Lee Foley; her grandchildren, Johnnie Foley, Brock Smith, Logan Smith, Bella Smith and Eliza Barrett; her brother Boyce Alton, Jr.; her sister-in-law Gina Frye of Columbus, MS; and her sister Wanda Sue Frye of Gastonia.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
