He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Russell and Irma Irene Daney Meroney; his wife Dorothy Marie Lehman Meroney; and his siblings, Janis Lantzer "Jay", Bonnie Roberts, Clarence Meroney, Leland Ray Sr., James Meroney "Jimmy", Marilyn Hochstetler and Jean Bailey "Jeannie".
He is survived by: his grandson Wade Meroney of Iron Station; and his sister Joyce Ratcliff (Larry) of Troy.
