He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Leo Vollmer and Agnas Frank Vollmer; his wife Dolores Cassanova Vollmer; his son Peter Vollmer; and his siblings, Betty Ann Walden, Sally Husband, Corky Vollmer and John Vollmer.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Anthony Vollmer Sr. (Susan), Matthew Vollmer, Maria Thomas (Eddie) and Anne Herman (Dennis); his daughter-in-law Julia Vollmer; and his siblings, Terry Vollmer and Ev McCallister.
