She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva Barrett Porter and Woodrow Porter; her brother Johnny James Porter; and her grandparents, Mattie Barrett Gibson and Rev. Jasper V. Gibson.
She is survived by: her brother William Glenn Porter (Cheryl) of Salisbury; and her aunt Ann Goodson. She is also survived by numerous cousins, friends, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
