David Shockey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Shockey of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Ravenswood, West Virginia, who passed away on August 9, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Ray and Ernestine Byrd Shockey; his wife Ola Megruta Shockey; and his son Mark Gilliland. He is survived by: his children, Debra Marciano (Scott), Michael Shockey, Steven Shockey (Crystal), Sue Ann Perkins (Doug), Timothy Gilliland and Marian Price. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
