David Gary Callahan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Gary Callahan (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Callahan; his son Bobby Callahan; and his brother Kevin Callahan. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Depray Callahan Brody; his children, Sarah Callahan Dixon and Sean David Callahan (Amanda); his grandchildren, Bobby Callahan, Josephine Callahan, Hattie Callahan, Carter Dixon and Callan Dixon; his siblings, Mike Callahan (Cherry), Terry Callahan and Maureen Bumgarner; his daughter-in-law Kristen Callahan; and his sister-in-law Carol Callahan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
