He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elias Alexander Dawson and Fidelia Ellen Nelson; his child Dale; his siblings, Dale Dawson and Audene Lewis; his wife Marian; and his children, Doug (Jill), Neil (Susan), Susanne (Dan), Sherron (Mike), Audene (Stacy), David (Sunshine) and Steven (Wendy). He was also cherished by 24 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
