He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Michaels; his grandparents, George, Alice Falls Michaels, Ernest Ferguson and Ethel Bostic Ferguson; his brother Joe Michaels; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Michaels and Glenn Leigh.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Michaels; his children, Jason Michaels (Tina), Samantha Stroupe and Jada Criswell (Daniel); his siblings, Ralph Y. Michaels (Janet), Pat Leigh and Sue McMillan (Ray); his grandchildren, Emma Michaels, Shadie Marlow, Marlayna Proto, Liberty Bone and Meyer Criswell; and his close friends, Beth Carson, Andy Baker, Larry Morris, Rev. Ralph Foster and Rev. Gary Gregg (Diane). He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
