He was predeceased by: his parents, Huston Polk and Elizabeth Polk; his sons, Leon Polk and JoJo Polk; and his siblings, Annis Gay, Earl Polk and Tootie Polk.
He is survived by: his children, James Polk, Tony Polk, Michael Polk, Gina King (Ted), Kay Ruiz (Tony), Sandra Polk and Jodie Polk (Charles Dockery); and his siblings, Raymond Polk (Lisa) and Mildred Fletcher (Jerry). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Services - South Chapel (1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Woodside Cemetery (260 Guinn St, Clover, SC 29710).
