She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Thomas Hightower and Icie Marett Hightower; her husband Lawrence Goudelock; and her siblings, Max Hightower, John Hightower, Donald Hightower and Glana Hightower.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Cratch (Thomas) of Gastonia, NC and Joan Davis (Phil) of Linden, NC; her siblings, Ken Hightower, Gene Hightower (Kathy) and Ruth White; her grandchildren, Jennifer Davis Doyle (Brian), Amber Cobb (Joshua) and Keri Bisconti; and her great grandchildren, Katie Bisconti, Alex Cobb, Davide Bisconti, Ryan Cobb and Emmalynn Cobb.
