With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clyde Joseph Nance of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2023 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, June Clyde Nance and Beulah Leigh Nance; his wife Maxine Greene Nance; his son Billy Nance; and his siblings, Lem Nance and Doris Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Dean Nance, David Scott Nance, Robbin Wall (Joey), Lee Ann Broach (Larry) and Sarah Long (David); and his siblings, Wister Nance, Dessie Grigg and Hazel Ford. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
