He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Burdette and Pearl Burdette; his son Kenneth Brent Burdette; and his sisters, Diane Pendleton and Jackie Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Ellis Burdette; his daughter Shelly Burdette; his sister Sherry Cotnam (Lee); his granddaughter Haley Landry (David); and his great grandchildren, Luke, Claire and Jacob.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
