He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross William and Elizabeth Hall Dellinger; his siblings, David Dellinger, Sr. and Jane D. Ratteeree; his nephew Wally Bumgarner; and the mother of his children Ann C. Dellinger.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Marie Dellinger of Gastonia, NC; his children, Candace "Candy" Ann Zander (Dennis) of Mount Hollly, NC, Phillip Dellinger of Gastonia and Patti Scofield of Gastonia; his siblings, Myra D. Bumgarner of Cramerton, NC and Leslie; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Dellinger of Belmont, NC and Mary Dellinger of Belmont, NC; his grandchildren, Daniel Zander (Colleen), Cassidy Zander, Patrick Zander, Tabetha Cooper (Eric) and Rachel Scofield; and his great grandchild Lorelai Zander. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
