With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine Ann Yamitelli (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Port Jefferson, New York, who passed away on December 14, 2022 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Santa Donecho and James Donecho of Hendersonville, NC; her husband Anthony Yamitelli, III; her children, James Anthony and Cecilia Rose; her brothers, James Donecho (Jennifer) and Michael Donecho (Ashley); her nieces, Emily and Alyssa; her nephew Jackson; her siblings-in-law, Anthony and Barbara Yamitelli; and also Katherine Schelp.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Atrium Health Levine Cancer Center or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
