It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Winford Sahms Sr. of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin James Sahms and Lillian Drew Sahms. He is survived by: his children, Charles Sahms Jr., Randall Lee Sahms, Waverly Adam Sahms and Virginia Gail Sahms; and his brother Willie Douglas Sahms. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
