He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ruth Peeler May; his sons, Charles Odell May, Avery "Pete" Clinton May and Brian Dale May; and his grandchildren, Justin May, Brandy May, Josh Hayes, JoyAnne Hollifield (Michael), Christy Thompson and Kimberly Love. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
