It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ruben Mason of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Mason and Elvia Mason; and the mother of his children Alice Mason. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Mason; his children, Marie Dunn, Lester Mason, David Mason (Sissy) and Carolyn Cook (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Allison Stacy (Mike), Mary Goss (Ryan), Amanda Dillard (Donovan) and David A. Mason. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
