He was predeceased by: his mother Louella Hall; his stepfather Major Taylor; and his brother Tony Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Swanger Kelly; his sons, Steven Kelley, Robert (Jodie Kelley) and Scott (Lamar Kellar); his grandsons, Alex and Donovan; and his siblings, Robert (Brenda Taylor), James (Wanda Taylor), Barbara (Bob Herndon) and Kathryn Waggoner.
