He was predeceased by: his parents, Voyd Garrion and Ibeair Ingle Holland; his former wife Doris Chastain Holland; his sons, Charles Holland Jr. and Phillip Holland Sr.; his sisters, Alaine Holland Tomberlin and Mary Daphine Crisp; his grandson Charles Thomas Holland III; and his great grandchild Jaiden Zane Holland.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Bouldin Holland; his sister Sue Green (Jerry); and his children, Karen Rowland (Michael), Denise Graves, Greg Campbell, Sonja Sanford and David Woods.
