With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles DeWayne Carr (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Carr and Thelma Stanford. He is survived by: his siblings, Louise Tallent, Dorothy Hamrick, Frankie Hall, Walter Carr, George Douglas Carr, Herman Carr and Billy Carr (Brenda); and his nieces and nephews, Larenda Carr, Clay, Pam Carr, Cindy and Tim Bynum. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 2200 Auten Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
