He is survived by: his wife Gail Jackson Black; his children, Mike Black of Gastonia and Anita Black; his sons-in-law, Jimmy Hendrix and Barry Grigg; his siblings, Larry Black of Ranlo, Donnie Black of Bessemer City, David Black of Winston-Salem, Cathy Farrar of Ranlo, Patty Self of Dallas and Brenda Black of Kinston, NC; and his grandchildren, Michael Grigg, Amanda Summerfield, Miranda Gozalkowski, Wesley Grigg and Noah Black. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
