He is survived by: his wife Mary Nanette James; his mother Louise Dancy James; his children, Casey (Isabell James), Jacob James, Clint (Haley James), Joshua Adams, Julie (Danny Wheatbrook), Katherine (Josh Glover) and Melissa James Kepley; his brother Ron; and his sister-in-law Kathy James.
