It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Rhyne Mauney (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Mauney; her son Joe Junior; and her siblings, Winfield, Jean, Ann, Linda, Timothy, Tony and Kenny.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy (David), Dwayn (Margaret), Bryan (Bethany), Todd (Susan) and Andrew (Julie); and her sister Gail Rhyne. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
