It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Postell Tidwell (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Alex and Alma Lucille West Postell; her brother Coy Postell; and her former husband Roy Tidwell. She is survived by: her close friend Ken Rumbley; her daughters, Alesia "Lisa" Tidwell Owenby (Rocky) and Crystal Tidwell (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jordan Lutz and Caroline Moore; her daughter Misty Rumbley Helsabeck (John); her grandchildren, Katie, Maddie, Michael, Ashley Ledford (Bryan) and Abby Evans (Jason); her siblings, Roy Postell (Doris), J. C. Postell (Vicki), Ricky Postell, Vivian McMahan (James), Marlene Johnson, Darlene Wilson (Tommy) and Sheila Grant (Gary); her sister-in-law Joann Postell; her close friend Angela Lin; and her pets, Gunner and Louie Vuitton. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
