With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Place Grenier (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Place and Marion Place; her husband Paul; her grandson Michael Freeman; and her sister Betty Abbott.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Freeman Davis (Larry), Dianne Grenier Marler (Wint), Ronald Grenier (Coleen) and Janet Dellinger Epstein (Mark); and her grandchildren, Dana Freeman Nelson, Elizabeth Freeman Clanton, Andrea Grenier, Andrew Grenier, Christopher Dellinger, Jamie Dellinger, Hannah Epstein and Torrie Epstein.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Macular Degeneration (donate.brightfocus.org) or Habitat for Humanity (habitat.org) or St. Michael Catholic Church.
