It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Fleming Murphy (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on March 30, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Hartwell Hughes; and her sister Phyllis Yoder. She is survived by: her daughters, Cyndi Holloman (Reggie) of Rock Hill, SC and Patty Jacobs (Tony) of Gastonia, NC; her grandchildren, Amber Jacobs and Donald Arrants; her great grandchild Devan Doster; her nieces, Kymberly Pennington and Renee Yoder; and her cousin Marvin Brown.
