She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Bryant and Pauline Bryant; and her brother Everett Bryant. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Maynard (John), W. Michael Haven (Virginia) and Thomas "Tom" E. Haven (Kim); her grandchildren, Allison Maynard and Olivia Haven; her sister-in-law Polly Bryant; her niece Rachel Newton (Jimmy); and her nephew Mark Bryant.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Services - South Chapel (1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052).
