She is survived by: her children, George J. Baker, III (Theresa) and Deborah Pease (James); her brother-in-law Bob Baker; her grandchild Lindsay Hawthorne (Derrick); and her great grandchildren, Kyla, Dylan and Layla.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the band program her family is heavily involved in.
