It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Lee Waters Jr. (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lee Waters, Sr. and Mildred Smith Waters; and his siblings, Ronald Waters, Linda Sue Stevens and Libby Waters.

He is survived by: his significant other Kay Mace Waters; his daughters, Karla (Mike McNeal) and Kasey (Paul Amburn); his granddaughters, Mila, Ella McNeal and Grace Amburn; his brother Jabo; his sister-in-law Karen Waters; his sister Darlene; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Campbell, Albert Stevens and Judy Waters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to City Church, 3100 City Church Street, Gastonia, NC 28056.
