He is survived by: his sons, Micheal Smith (Chrystal) and Mark Smith (Tangela); and his sisters, Bea Valentine, Dena Deese, Brenda Hill (Jerry) and Shirley Stallings (Ronnie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
