It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Sowell of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lamar Drennan and Ninnie Barnette Quinn; and her husband Niles Blair "Sonny" Sowell. She is survived by: her children, Blair Sowell (Cyndi), Mark Sowell, Kevin Sowell, Robin Davidson (John) and Kelly Leigh (Keith); her sister Dolorese Taylor; her grandchildren, Hayley Bretherton (Michael), Kayley Leigh, Logan Leigh, McKenley Leigh and Bobby Niles Leigh; her great grandchild Violet Burns; and her pet Bia.
