She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Allen and Mary Allen; her sister Judy Allen Miles; and her nephew Brent Allen Williams. She is survived by: her sisters, Janet (Walter Kellogg), Novelyn (Jim Williams) and Angela (Roddy Yates); her nieces, Christin Allen Hambacher, Lindsey (Firas Bukhari) and Emily (Matt Stankus); her nephew Edward Garin Hyde; her great-nephews, Zachary Leo Bukhari and Jack Henry Stankus; her great-niece MaryJames-Noel Bukhari; and her pet Torie.

If one desires, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church, 190 East Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28052 or the Gaston Low Cost Spay /Neuter Clinic, 425 West Franklin Blvd. Gastonia, N.C. 28052.
