She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Kanipe and Mary Kanipe; and her husband Thomas. She is survived by: her daughters, Kayle Barbur (Adam), Brandy Hall (Paul) and Courtney Psomadakis (Brandon); her grandchildren, Bayleigh Henneman, Kylee Jacobs (Marty), Grady, Abigail and Claire Psomadakis; and her pet Miss Mary.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
