With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billie Laws Ballard of Gastonia, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Don Laws and Ruth Ramsey Whitley; her husband Dwight Ballard; her children, Tim Ballard (Myra Walters Ballard) and Leanne Ballard Stowe (Jeff Stowe); and her grandchildren, Madison, Blake Ballard and Bennett Stowe.
