She was predeceased by: her parents, Hyme Jackson, Sr. and Ola Lowery Jackson; her husband Willie Lee Woods; and her siblings, Denise Jackson Glenn, Hyme Jackson, Jr. and Joey King Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Setzer, Beverly Woods Tribble (Raymond), Myra Renee Woods, Phyllis Whistine (James), Tanya Williams of Gastonia, Warren Keith Woods of Gastonia and Jerry Lamar Woods, Sr. of Mount Holly; her sisters, Bessie Mae Montgomery, Stella Hope Jackson and Gardenia Sue Jackson of Gastonia; her siblings-in-law, Arlene June, Deborah June, Sarah Mackins (Calvin), Dorothy Woods (Major) of Gastonia, Paulet Jackson of Charlotte, L. C. June (Juanita), Samuel June (Patricia) and William June (Kelly) of Gastonia; her niece Shelia Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia.; her cousin Mary Boyd of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.; and her close friends, Mary Barber, Hazel Belton, Frances Gordon, Joann McCoy, Betty Montgomery, Fessie Rudisill, Arthur and Brenda Byrd. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
