It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Ann Pearson (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Henry and Sarah Reid Epps; and her sister Jean Epps Petty of Spartanburg. She is survived by: her spouse Plato Pearson, Jr. (Tete); and her sons, Martin (Tami), Rob (Jane), Steve (Nancy) and Joe (Tracee).

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorials be sent to First ARP Church.
