We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2020, at the age of 70, Benny Wayne Sloan (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jackson and Eloise Hager Sloan; and his brother Robert Jackson Sloan (Vicki). He is survived by: his wife Debbie Hook Sloan; his son Andy (Windy Greenway); his grandchildren, Joseph, Cash, Isabelle, Henry and Charlotte of Griffin, GA; his daughter Sonja Forrester; his granddaughter Phoebe-Kate Prince; his daughter Shera Forrester (Anthony Kakassy); his grandson Quaid of Gastonia; his siblings, Lowell Dean Sloan of Moorseville, NC and Carol (Mike Norket) of Cornelius, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Tonya Hucks, Nikki Sloan, Patrick and Robert.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054 or to Heart Society of Gaston County, 1201 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
