He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Mason Dawsey; his parents, Jesse Hill Dawsey and Uley Graham Dawsey; his former wife Hilda Johnson Dawsey; and his children, Benjamin Wofford Dawsey Jr. of Spartanburg, SC and Rebecca Dawsey Johnson of Georgetown, SC. He was also cherished by children, grandchildren and a great grandchild.
