It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Royster Whitlock (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Evens Royster and Martha Fowler Royster; and her husband Clyde John Whitlock, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Diane Whitlock Seufert and Clyde John Whitlock, III (Patricia); her grandchildren, Michael Seufert (Nicole), Caroline Brown (Ashton), April Hayes (Mac) and Crystal Whitlock; her great grandchildren, Ava, Asher, Whitleigh, Cash, Cruz, Malachi, Ricky and Austin; and her sister Faye Tanner.

Flowers are accepted or contributions in memory of Mrs. Whitlock may be made to Bradley Church, 1425 W. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
