She was predeceased by: her parents, Vestula Lowery and Eddie Clint; and her siblings, Edward Byrd, Shirley Crawford and Omera Byrd.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sylvia Desmond-Smith of Amber, PA, Doris Byrd of Charlotte, NC, Florence Byrd of Gastonia, NC, Linda B. Lowery of Gastonia, NC, Vanessa Byrd of Gastonia, NC and Charles Byrd; and her sister-in-law Lether Byrd. She is also survived by nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
